I will be indeed. Now, onto the important decision of which pub to go to. Does anyone have any suggestions? The only one I can remember from previous trips to Ipswich is the bar at Manningtree station I've done some research and Isaacs On The Quay (
Cheers,

This looks a nice pub, not been to Ipswich water front previously.
Didn’t know Ipswich had water.
I was going to drive, but there are still trains being advertised.
Will check again on Friday as I would rather get the train.

Greater Anglia is my train line and we have had trains on previous strike days (especially on longer distance routes to Ipswich).
What time are people planning to arrive in Ipswich? Fortuitously, I'm on a family camping trip just outside Ipswich, so it won't take me long to get there

Very encouraging performance at Birmingham last night.

I’m looking at getting the 10:38 from Stratford (10:30 from LS)
Due into Ipswich at 11:40, should be in pub for 12.
Probably get the 17:44 return, but will by open return.

Doubt I'll be able to get to the pub for 12. Let me know if you move on. My number is 07957 618260.
