    Bought my ticket so hopefully a beer afterwards if not before! I'm thinking of that pub on the river we've been to before.....

    Got my match ticket. Will be up on the train. The Cottage is one of the pubs we head for before the game. The Ostrich is another which is nearer Temple Meads.

    I've just noticed that on this day the line is closed between Didcot and Swindon.
    Bus replacement services operate Didcot to Swindon and shuttle trains between Swindon and Temple Meads.

    I intend to get on at Chippenham but there only seems to be one train an hour.
    Beware.

    I'm getting the 9.21 from Chippenham.
    29 minutes to BTM in theory.
    See you there guys.
    Pub near the station and a taxi methinks.

    Will go for The Knights Templar as a starting point.

    Open from 8am.

    Update on the pub.

    Various posts on Facebook saying the Knights Templar is not now open until 11am.

    Thoughts ?

    There is also a pub near The Ostrich called The Ship which is supposed to open at 10am but the phone number doesn't work
