Have the tickets been sent out for this?
If so I haven’t received mine.
If not, that’s why I’ve not received it.

Have we sold our allocation?
Have you asked at the ticket office.

Has anyone got a plan yet? There seems to be a few decent looking pubs around the station/centre of Lewes according to the internet. Has anyone been in real life?

Nick came up with a spare this morning so I'm sorted.

The Lansdown Arms, the nearest pub to the station gets quite full. Also the one further up the hill, the Royal Oak.
If you get there early enough, it's worth the extra 7 min walk to The Brewer's Arms.
Proper pub, and usually pretty quiet.

Go past the Lansdown, continue up the hill, past the Royal Oak, then turn left.
It's about another 200m.
.... at least it's downhill, back to the station.

Well I'm going to head for the Brewer's then. Should be there at about 5 if anyone would like to join me.

Howard and I will be arriving in Lewes at 2.20 pm for a leisurely lunch followed by some proper ale. We'll be in The Gardeners Pub from about 4.30 onwards as I'm assured by my mate who lives in Lewes that it's the best pub in town......
