    Is anyone else thinking of doing this game?

    I've been looking at train times / prices.

    Plenty of choice for trains, and fare is £48 atm.

    We could celebrate the festive season with a lunch?

    Am doing this one from Shrewsbury. Not sure about lunch as some peoples ideas about lunch seem to be a huge pork pie.

    I think Ross won't be tucking in to one of them !

    I rather fancy this game too but I'd suggest people buy train tickets early as the last
    Saturday before Xmas will be rammed on the trains. Match tickets no problem though.

    Thanks for the edit Glyn.

    I've booked the following trains;

    09:00 Euston - Bolton 11:44 via Manchester Piccadilly

    17:57 Bolton - Euston 20:57 via Manchester Piccadilly

    The ground is a few miles from the town, taxis may be best option.

    There is a local train station Horwich Parkway next to the ground which could be used for the return journey.

    As for lunch ( I like pork pies ) Italian is always popular?

    I booked up for this a while back.  9.00 Euston, back 18:22 Bolton.
    Christmas game so caution to the wind and will be up for whatever pie, cake or other northern speciallity on offer.

    Im on the 09.00 out of Euston and the 17.57 back. will eat most things

    Booked my train ticket for this so see everyone in Manchester or Bolton. Second new ground of the season after Burton.

    I'm travelling up from Reading , meeting your train from Manchester Piccadilly at 11-22. Back from sunny Bolton on the 18-35 to Reading.
