I've booked the following trains;
Out 09:43 - 11:08
Return 18:50 - 20:23
Both journeys Euston - New Street.
I've booked standard tickets.
This will give plenty of time for refreshment. 😀

Outbound - 08:45 (d) - 10:18 (a)
Inbound - 18:33 (d) - 20:09 (a)
Carriage "D" both ways.
Just enough tome for a Wetherspoons breakfast.

Do we need to get a local train to Villa Park from New Street ? I've only ever been there by car before.

Will be doing this one from Shrewsbury. Suggest meeting in The Old Joint Stock Company pub which we usually use in Brum. Been ages since I went to Villa and can't remember how we got to the ground from new street. I am guessing there will be trains from either New St or Snow Hill, will check it out.

Checked out how to get to the ground. There are trains from New Street to Witton station which is a stones throw from the away end and takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
