With this game just over a month away, thought I would start a thread.
We went to a Pub near the station last season, but I thought this season it may be nice to make a day of it and maybe see a bit more of Brighton. Perhaps head to the Lanes from the station and do a mini crawl. We could organise cabs to take us from the pub to the ground save having to head back to the station.
What do you think? I know a couple of Brighton fans so could get names of decent pubs/reliable cab firm from them.....

Chris personally I think I've done Brighton to death over the years.....
An alternative is to get off in Lewes (home of the Harveys brewery) and go the the pubs there - it's a great little town with great pubs and less congestion on the trains to Falmer!

I'll be travelling there via Lewes as well.
The pub opposite the station (Lansdown Arms) tends to get busy, so previously we've used The Brewer's Arms on the High Street (a further 5-7 min walk).
Please remember, the Brighton ticket also allows you to travel for free within a certain area.
So if you're travelling down from London, you only need a get a train ticket to Haywards Heath.... the rest of the journey is FREE.

Hi Ross
Agree it is a shame to split the group, but the General and I fancy a few drinks in the Laines in Brighton, so shall be heading for there! Our train is due in about 11.30 (we are going from Reading and changing at Clapham) and the thinking is to take a taxi to the ground from central Brighton around 2. If you or anyone else would like to join us then we can either meet at station or you can call when you get there and I can let you know what pub we are in - the Laines are v close to the station.
Cheers!

I think I'll be doing the same as Ross. Chris, I've also got the number ending in 910. See you in Brighton.
