PROBLEM!
Shandy sensiblly suggested that "....The usual pre/post QPR pub is the Queens Head on Brook Green (queensheadhammersmith.co.uk/). Really nice pub. Big garden (which we'll hopefully be using). Gets my vote. See you there....."
Looking at the website just now, I saw it is closed for refurbishment. Rang up just to make sure and was advised it only closed from today for the contractors to come in and will not be open again until at least mid September. We therefore need a new venue this Saturday. Any ideas people? One of the Sports Bar such as in Marylebone perhaps. Suggestions here please.
Thanks for flagging Ross.
The usual alternative pre/post QPR pub is the Brook Green Hotel (170 Shepherd's Bush Road, W6 7PB)

It's a nice Young's pub very near the Queens Head. This gets my vote as the alternative. What time is eveyone planning to get to the pub?
Romford Bluebird - Thanks for the suggestions, but let's avoid pubs near tube stations.

It opens at 0800
Depending on taxis and trains I'm hoping to be down around 12-1.

I will go where I am told. I usually do. I dont fancy starting before 1 though as with a 5:15 kick off I will have to draw my three pints out a long time.

What an equaliser that was. I really can't remember being so elated since Andy Campbell did them at the Millenium.
Well actually Turners equaliser at Wembley was the same.
So best in the league for me!

Malone was brilliant all the way through. Since when was he so good? If I've seen him play before, I certainly haven't noticed him. Mind you, I should get my contact lenses checked. I thought the ball had landed on top of the net at first - and even then, I thought it was an amazing shot!
