Re: Wednesday awy on Saturday 7th February in the snow

There's cheap travel available via the MegaBus website..... just choose the "train" option in the menu.
At this present time, you could get a return to Sheffield by train for £28.
Depart London 09:26 - arr Sheffield 11:41   £18
Depart Sheffield 19:29 - arr London 21:33   £10

If that train back from Sheffield is too late, then do the "up" bit with MegaBus, and the return via TrainLine (18:29) for £23.00    (£41 in total)

I have booked a train/trains as follows
KX 10:03 via Donny arrives 12:20ish
Back Sheff 18:29 to St Pancras
Cost me £37 with my old boys railcard.

The station is 100 miles from the ground so I hacve allowed plenty of time for a drink in Sheffield after the game.

Can I remind everyone about " The Fat Cat " pub. Wonderful boozer and near the tram stop too.

Been there a couple of times . great selection of real ales and foreign bottles of lager  but also fruit wines etc.

Great traditional grub at reasonable prices as well. Proper old style boozer.
