Re: West Brom Away Sat 29th March

Any indication as to when tickets go on sale to gold members? It's getting annoying how long season ticket holders are getting to buy tickets as the rest of us have to make travels plans in advance to get cheap train tickets etc and we are not being given much time to do so.

Re: West Brom Away Sat 29th March

I will be travelling with the General by x-country train from Reading, arriving at New Street at 11.48. We are meeting up a friend of mine who is a WBA fan and plan on walking to Snow Hill via 2/3 decent pubs we have visited before. The Gen is sorting out the itinerary and we will post it on here so hopefully we can all meet up. For all you Real Ale fans, one of the pubs has a cracking selection.
I am not in the office on Friday and wont have easy access to this board so i will ask ther Gen to post details on here if we dont get it sorted tomorrow.
Hope to see you all on Sat!

Re: West Brom Away Sat 29th March

Excellent - Aidan, see you at New Street!

Ross - waiting for the General to sort out the pubs - I can't remember the names of them! Have asked him to post them to this board.

My mobile is 07834 943 910 in case we need to speak to coordinate on the day.

Cheers!

Re: West Brom Away Sat 29th March

I would recommend a walk to Snow Hill metro staion because along the way there are some fine pubs.
Plus the metro from Snow Hill runs every 10 mins and takes 7 mins to get to the Hawthorns......

A 5-10 mins in the right direction... you will find a gem of a real ale pub. Please see their own web page.

Out of the back of the pub and a few steps later you will find yourself in an amazing Fullers pub.

Then a walk past the Catherdral and in the direction of Snow Hill you will find the....

Only a 100 yrds from the metro station.
Last time there were some unusual real ales so fingers crossed.

Very near to New Street is the Post Office Valuts.

A bit flat and smelly(?) when I went in there before the Villa game - but it was before 12.00 - but I hope to squeeze this one in after the game.

If you can get to the Wellington....see you there!

The General.
