    I like the look of the Castle Hotel, 66 Oldham Street.
    Real Ales a plenty
    It's North of the station about 2/3rd the way to Manchester Victoria.
    We will certainly need a taxi to the Stadium though so shouldn't leave it too late!

    Have a look online.

    I'm having a quiet couple of days after my spell in hospital but may upgrade to first class on the way up as its no more than £15.
    I'm already in FC for the trip back.

    You can't beat a pub with net curtains, and a hipster hangout according to the reviews so we'll blend in seamlessly. As usual I've booked a different train from the rest of you. I'll be about 20 minutes behind. See you all in the pub.

    Will meet the train from London no point going straight to the pub as it probably won't be open. To be perfectly honest I am not sure if all of us will pass as hipsters,and Mancunian hipsters at that. Jo and I will be discussing out favourite programme Benifits Street at the pub.

    Six o'clock get up for me tomorrow.

    At least I'm feeling a lot better today. Haven't had a drink for 8 days so no cans on the train for me in the morning.
