    Away game pub selection

    Before the Arsenal game we went to a fabulous pub ...one of the best.
    then after the game we went to an even better one....well done Fat Cat.

    Can anyone suggest a proper pub in Newcastle for before the game....it makes a real difference to the day out when we get this right!

    Also we need good ones in Manchester obviously.

    One of my more serious posts...and thank you for welcoming Lesley who says she will come to a game again next year.

    Best I can find for Newcastle is 
    The Old GeorgeI Inn
    Nearish the station...High Bridge..off Bigg Market.

    Went to a good one before the Friday night game a couple of years back. Will put my thinking cap on. T'was over the road from a Thai and about 10 mins from the ground.
