Ross , Wales have qualified for Euro 2016 Euro 2020 and the World Cup.
Cardiff City got relegated from the Premier League and done diddly squat since except sack managers.
Crowds like some sort of success and hope to keep on going to games.

Wales have done consistently well in qualifying competitions which is why people like to support them.
Nearly ten years of success.
Anyway supporting Wales and Cardiff is what most Cardiff fans do.
They are not mutually exclusive of each other.
