Looking forward to Saturday- where shall we meet? Looking at the website the Sports Bar opens at 11 so that may be the better option ?

Concerned about the many negative posts about the Sports Bar on tripadvisor ( more so recentlly). Also, having been there once, I think it's a bit souless. Agree that we need a pub opening at 11am, though.
So would like to suggest The Allsop Arms ( 137-143Â Gloucester Place Marylebone). It's very close to the station ( about 100m or so), opens at 11am, has a good range of beers and plenty of choice on the menu. It has far more positive reviews than negative and a rating of 4 out of 5 from 217 reviews on tripadvisor. Haven't been there, but it looks like a nice pub -seems like it might be a good option.

Let’s go for the Allsop Arms, provided it has no connection with Kirsty Allsop !!!!
It opens at 11 and apparently should meet our exacting standards!

How about the Railway, West Hampstead. Gives the boozers amongst us a chance of that cheeky post 2:30pm pint and still making kickoff. Got some great photos of the Beehive from that League Cup day but it looks a bit upmarket now. I don't seem to have anyone's phone no anymore. Can anyone who is going and in contact with me on facebook send me their phone number that way rather than post it on this public forum. Just so I know where we're going.
