Re: Brentford Away Sat 14th March

As we are sorting our tickets out, time to start thinking about a pre match pub.
On the FB site there is a suggestion of the Rose and Crown in Ealing, that has apparently been used before. Downside seems to be it is about a 45 min walk from the ground and traffic could be v heavy if we take taxis/bus.
Bryen has suggested we try to do a crawl of the 4 pubs on each corner. Fun (some of us did ths before the friendly at the start of last season,) but will we have trouble getting into the pubs bearing in mind they are v likely to restrict access for City fans?
Fat Cat - you know the area - any suggestions for a nice boozer that isn't too far away and is likely to let us in?
Anybody who wants to post suggestions please do so and then let's see what suits people best.

A smallish pub just off the main tracks is The Watermans Arms on Ferry Lane - serves IPA. However my favourite which is 5 mins further away is The Brewery Tap on Catherine Wheel Road which serves Fullers......almost sorry I'm not going now....

Re: Brentford Away Sat 14th March

Tickets are now on sale to all ST holders and Gold members WITH NO AWAY GAME
ATTENDANCES.

Sadly for family reasons I won't be able to come to this one.

Enjoy everyone !

Re: Brentford Away Sat 14th March

Shall we go for the Brewert Tap for a pre match pub then? Close enough to the ground to walk, but not to close to expect problems getting in as away fans. Accoring to w/site it opens at 12- will aim to get there for then.

Re: Brentford Away Sat 14th March

If there's one thing Fat Cat knows lots about, it's pubs.  So I second The Brewery Tap (www.brewerytapbrentford.co.uk/).  See you all there.

Re: Brentford Away Sat 14th March

Long shot but does anybody have a terracing spare by any chance? I have one but need another.

Seating still availble but the terrace has sold out
