Re: Mansfield away replay

Anyone fancy it from London?
The only way back on the train on the night would be from Newark as far as I can see which is 20miles and 30mins in a taxi?

Good find Warrior

I fancy this, I’ve checked train times and the 23:07 for Newark Northgate seems doable.

For the outward journey how about the 14:29 from St Pancras?

Oh OK I'll go for it too. Just about to buy my match ticket. Mansfield is even more of a dump than Bolton but worth a visit given I haven't been there for perhaps 20 years!

Re: Mansfield away replay

I'm not going, but better hope there is not extra time or panalties. If there are, Newark for 23:07 will seem a long way off!

Good point Ross.

We will need to leave at 90 minutes, to get the train.

Thinking about it, may be better off driving. At least we can stay to the end. (It’s going to penalties)

Fat Cat do you fancy the drive? If not I’ll drive.

I much prefer train because you can drink and go to the toilet at your convenience! If no one fancies the train option I'll pass on a car journey!

Re: Mansfield away replay

Ok train tickets booked.

13:29 St Pancras - Mansfield

23:07 Newark Northgate - Kings Cross

Fat Cat is on board, anyone else?

Re: Mansfield away replay

I did fancy this but being out here in wurzle land makes it too difficult really.

Re: Mansfield away replay

Still dithering about this.

Two choices :
1 Go to London and get back there at silly o'clock and no way of getting back to my car to drive home.
2 Go to Cardiff and link up with a supporters coach with my car parked up a street near to CCS.

Mmmmm. ?

Glyn if you park the car at South Ealing you can get there later in about 45 minutes from Kings Cross.

This will Involve a bus to Paddington, the train to Ealing Broadway then bus to South Ealing.

From memory there’s street parking at South Ealing.

Also the Piccadilly line runs into Kings Cross on the way In

You know it makes sense Glyn, see you Tuesday..
